After a disheartening loss against the New England Patriots in Week 2 of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers should make some changes. It's still very early in the campaign, but they have shown signs of weakness across the offensive line and parts of their secondary. You could certainly blame the offense for most of their problems to date, and that should lead to some sort of changes.

There are different areas of where people are putting the blame of the blowout loss to New England.

One is DK Metcalf, and for good reason. Another is the offensive line, which isn't being highlighted enough as a massive problem during the early stages of the season. The secondary seemed to have exposed some cracks after they showed they might be missing their starters.

With a tough AFC North battle this upcoming weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals at home, this seems like a must-win for the Steelers. They cannot afford to lose their home stand against their divisional opponent. Many should see Pittsburgh as home underdogs after their latest showing against the Patriots. That was one of the sloppiest games we have seen this team play in a long time.

Pittsburgh Steelers should consider several depth chart alterations after Week 2 debacle

Dylan Cook

Maybe he hasn't been as awful as some might claim, but Dylan Cook is not a strength of the offensive line. It might be time for some players to sink down the depth chart across the trenches. That unit is struggling right now, and it has led to an incredibly inept offensive attack.

Max Iheanachor is just sitting there and has had a couple of weeks to catch up to speed, which means he should take over Cook's spot and hopefully give new life to the trenches.

Rayshawn Jenkins

It's hard to fault Rayshawn Jenkins too much because, in truth, he's supposed to be just an experienced depth piece on the roster. The Steelers have to play him because they don't trust anyone else, but maybe it's time to give rookie Robert Spears-Jennings a shot. Pittsburgh got blown up on the long Treveyon Henderson touchdown run, and one reason was that Jenkins couldn't get free.

Spencer Anderson

No one is talking about Spencer Anderson, but he's a bigger flop than Dylan Cook. Anderson didn't have enough of a fight for his top spot on the depth chart, and now the Steelers are paying dearly for that. He is unplayable right now, and he's one of the main reasons why this unit is flopping.

Maybe Brock Hoffman and Iheanachor can slide into the starting roles and help settle the right side of the offensive line.

Payton Wilson

Okay, so maybe he doesn't deserve to get benched, but Payton Wilson has shown signs of problems during the early stages of the season. He got bullied a couple of times against New England, and it probably won't get any better against the Bengals. The Steelers should be calling Elandon Roberts and begging him to come back. They desperately need a tone-setter in the middle of their defense.
