This looked like a game that the Pittsburgh Steelers were going to win early on. Halftime presented a problem, though, and the Bears proved to be the better unit. Pittsburgh had a chance to win or tie the game, and they came up short.

For a team that had once been in control of their future, they have since fallen on hard times. Now, Baltimore is squarely back into this thing, and it could cost Pittsburgh dearly.

It got ugly quickly for the team, and now they hope to rebound next week. Here are the winners and losers from the Steelers' loss to the Bears.

Winners and loser from the Pittsburgh Steelers heartbreaking loss to the Bears

Steelers Winner: Kenneth Gainwell

The Steelers' ground game was electric this week, and once again, Kenneth Gainwell played a key role on offense. He was his steady self in the passing game and had a massive run on fourth down. He’s become a steady weapon for the team and provided a big spark with his opportunities.

Steelers Loser: Kyle Duggar

I’ve sung the praises of Kyle Duggar since he was added to the team, but this week he was exposed. While a decent run defender, his coverage was bad this week. That is easily the weakest element of his game right now.

Steelers Winner: Jaylen Warren

While Jaylen Warren lacked the big run that Gainwell had, he has been so physical and tough to bring down as a runner. He handled the bulk of the caries and was efficient on the ground. He has been such an upgrade as the lead back for the Steelers.

Steelers Loser: Second Half Offense

It was an efficient day on offense for the Steelers in the first half. After halftime was a different story. While they found their footing later in the game, it was a mess at first. Them stalling like that killed the team this week.

Steelers Winner: The Pass Rush

It felt like the Steelers got the best of the Bears' offensive line this week. Caleb Williams was rattled all game, and it showed in his passes. Add in the strip sack from T.J. Watt and score from Nick Herbig, and it was a solid showing by this group.

Steelers Winner: Yahya Black

Yahya Black has been such an under-the-radar stud this year. His stats aren’t flashy, but he has been efficient at taking up space and impacting the running game. He also ripped the ball away for a fumble. The big guy has been a big addition as a fifth-round pick.

Steelers Loser: Mason Rudolph

I had hope that Mason Rudolph would lead this offense well in place of an injured Aaron Rodgers. Instead, he looked the part of a good backup that can do enough to keep you in the game but not enough to win the game.
