The Steelers' second primetime game went better than the first, as they soundly beat the Jets en route to their fifth win of the season. It was a big game for a variety of reasons and for both teams. Ultimately, Pittsburgh showed up and played one of the best games of the season, and they soundly beat a talented New York team.

With such a dominant win, it is hard to find a lot of complaints in this game. The offense moved the ball through the air and on the ground, and Russell Wilson looked like his old self.

The defense was stout and did a good job bottling up a talented Jets offense. We need to mention special teams as well, as that side of the ball did a great job as well. All of that said, here are the 5 winners from the Steelers' Week 7 win.

Steelers winners:

Beanie Bishop

I went back and forth with who was my top winner, but I had to give it to Beanie Bishop. This was far and away his best game, and as I highlighted last week, this was his toughest matchup. Two interceptions are always impressive, even if the second one was a bit lucky, he also was stout in coverage and a good tackler. Hopefully, this was his coming out game.

Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson was an unpopular choice at quarterback this week by most fans. He looked to back up that thought early in this game. By the second quarter though, he had got comfortable and opened things up. He looked great this week and helped get this passing game rolling. I do think the offensive playcalling was more aggressive, something I had said for a while, but Wilson still looked really good this week.

George Pickens

Finally, we got the George Pickens of old back. It had been an ok season for the star wideout, but he was lacking the big plays and spectacular catches. That changed this week, as he was dynamic with most of his caches. He seemed to find his groove this week and shine like we expected him to all year.

Steelers run game

It wasn’t quite like last week, but the Steelers were still effective on the ground. Najee Harris ran with a lot of power and has looked as good as ever these past two weeks. Jaylen Warren had his burst back as well. Both players helped keep drives moving and took the pressure off the passing game.

Danny Smith

Wow, time to give Danny Smith his flowers. Twice in this game, his unit blocked a kick. The first time the result was unfairly reversed due to a bogus penalty. They followed it up with a blocked field goal that did count. An elite showing from this group.

Steelers losers

I don’t have any. I could nitpick with some individual plays, but both sides of the team jelled this week. We should all be happy with the end result, and I don’t see a clear-cut loser worthy of mentioning on this list.
