ESPN just handed the Steelers a gift meme with this Browns OTA post

Tough look.

Anyone who's followed the NFL long enough will tell you that OTAs don't mean a lot. And in fact, they'd probably tell you they don't mean anything at all. But that is, unfortunately, not how the internet works. Everything's a big deal until proven otherwise, and we're all still waiting for the first thing to be proven otherwise.

So it probably shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anyone that making a big deal about QB stats during OTAs did not go well on the internet. A local ESPN affiliate in Cleveland covering the Browns, of all teams, tried it out again this year, posting a comically-silly QB completion graphic that immediately spent the next two days getting consistently roasted. It's a gift that keeps on giving for Steelers fans/literally anyone else.

ESPN Cleveland's OTA QB tracker is comically over the top

It probably shouldn't be surprising that a team like the Browns โ€“ with all four of their QBs โ€“ would do this, just like it probably shouldn't be all that surprising that everyone immediately pointed out how dopey it is. And if we're going to buy into the stats from one single OTA sessions, it also just reinforces how awful the Kenny Pickett decision was. Turns out, having four quarterbacks isn't a great idea, even when it's late-May.

This is why you don't take OTA stats seriously. Although with all the engagement and interaction that this tweet brought to ESPN Cleveland in the offseason, I imagine they don't really care about who's laughing at them. And on top of that, maybe Steelers fans should just focus on laughing at the dopiness so much that they don't notice Shedeur Sanders' kinda-scary looking statline. But then again, it's only OTAs. At least that's what we're telling ourselves.
