George Pickens turned the Steelers-Commanders game into a UFC fight

There probably wasn't a more anticipated matchup in Week 10 than Steelers-Commanders. Washington is one of, if not the, most surprising stories of the NFL season so far, with Jayden Daniels playing like a legitimate MVP candidate as a rookie.

It was one of the best tests of the entire season for the Steelers' defense, which has been playing like one of the best units in football for most of the season. With one of the league's best offenses playing against one of the league's best defenses, with both teams currently leading their division, the intensity was always going to feel more like a January playoff game than a mid-season 1pm kickoff.

And in case you were at all concerned the intensity may not live up to the hype, look no further than George Pickens. The Steelers' wide receiver wasted no time showcasing his trademark physicality, getting in a fight with Commanders' cornerback Mike Sainristil, like, 2.5 seconds after Russell Wilson threw an interception.

Kids, here at FanSided, we don't condone fighting. But it is objectively funny how quickly both Pickens and Sainristil were ready to get after it. Pickens' physicality is well known at this point, but Sainristil has never shied away from it either, so it's not entirely surprising to see that boil over on a play like this. I'm sure there were more than a couple Steelers fans who sympathized with how angry watching Wilson toss up easy interceptions can make a person.

Usually I eye roll when someone tweets about how they just need to watch the All-22, but exceptions must be made here. I need to see the rest of this fight. The camera pans away *just* when things look like they're getting good, and I'm willing to be there's probably another 10-15 seconds worth of tussling.
