This was supposed to be the doldrums of the offseason, but the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to go against the grain in a massive way. Pittsburgh has officially made a huge trade to acquire three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey from the Miami Dolphins.

And, in iconic fashion, Ramsey broke his own news via social media.

Ramsey released his own personal hype video detailing the history of Pittsburgh's physicality while adding his own spin. Check it out for yourself.

"He talks loud. He hits harder."

What a line, and what a way to kick off the Ramsey era in Pittsburgh.

The trade, itself, ended up being a blockbuster which ultimately sent tight end Jonnu Smith to the Steelers as well, with some draft capital also exchanged.

Jalen Ramsey gives the Steelers a physical cornerback tandem to perfectly defend AFC North QBs

This Ramsey trade now pairs him up with Joey Porter Jr. on the outside, giving Pittsburgh a physical duo at the position. Between Ramsey and Porter, the Steelers now have some "dawgs," as the youngsters call them.

The two of them will be quite the necessary tandem going up against the likes of Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson, who are not only two of the best quarterbacks in the AFC, but in all of football.

Just a couple of years ago, cornerback was a soft spot for the Steelers. It was an eye sore. Fans didn't like the depth they saw in that room and, in a matter of two offseasons, the position now looks drastically different.

Will Ramsey be enough to take this Steelers defense to the next level? We haven't even talked about the loss of safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who now heads back to Miami in the trade. Hopefully, newcomer Juan Thornhill can step in and not allow the Steelers to see too much of a drop-off there.

That's a story for another time, but for right now, the Steelers' cornerback room looks like a problem to the rest of the division.
