The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the NFL's premier franchises during Super Bowl Era, with many of the games greatest players spending most if not all of their career wearing the Black and Gold.
Only two teams have more Hall of Famers than the Steelers 32, with the Bears (39) and Packers (34) beating them out.
All fans know about the Steelers of the 1970s, but the 2000s have also been a golden era in terms of talent and success. Pro Football Focus hasn't always given the Steelers as much love as fans think is warranted, but they did give praise to two of their best players in their All-PFF Team of the last 25 years.
Troy Polamalu and Antonio Brown represent Pittsburgh Steelers on PFF's best players over last 25 years
Troy Polamalu and Antonio Brown were both named as the best players at their positions on the All-PFF team, and it should be no surprise to anyone who watched them.
Polamalu is one of the best playmaking defensive backs of all time, routinely making game changing plays that led to wins. He was a safety in name only, more closely resembling a Queen in chess that can move all around the field with seemingly no rules.

He was also a consummate professional and a beloved teammate, something you can't say about the other Steeler to make PFF's list.
Brown was as dominant as any receiver ever has been during his prime for the Steelers. From 2013 to 2018, no receiver could match the production the former All-Pro put up. Even Julio Jones couldn't keep pace with him, especially in terms of touchdowns.
No one can argue with Brown's greatness, but you can't talk about him without mentioning all of the chaos surrounding him since his departure from the Steelers. Between trades, refusal to play, legal issues, and quitting in the middle of a game for the Buccaneers, the difference between him and Polamalu as people couldn't be clearer.
Still, both are more than deserving of PFF's praise.
