The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a bizarre Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens—a game that was decided by a botched Tyler Loop field goal in the waning seconds. While the focus is on preparing for the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, we now officially know every opponent the Steelers will face during the 2026 regular season.
We already knew which NFL divisions the Steelers would face next season, but based on where Pittsburgh ultimately finished in the standings (the No. 4 seed in the AFC), we now have the full opponent list revealed... and it's weird.
Nearly all of Pittsburgh's 2026 opponents either had spectacular records in 2025 or finished near the bottom of the league. Only a handful of opponents finished near the middle of the pack in terms of NFL records this past season.

With the NFL's 17-game schedule since 2021, the odd number of games means NFL teams will either have one additional home game or one fewer home game. In 2026, the Steelers will have eight home games and nine road contests.
Collectively, this includes six games against AFC North teams (two each against the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens). The Steelers will also play the NFC South and the AFC South in 2026. Pittsburgh's final three games are based on end-of-season standings from 2025 and will come against the Denver Broncos, the New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Interestingly, the Steelers will face a collection of opponents with daunting records from 2025, as well as a handful of opponents who finished near the bottom of the league.
Let's start with the latter. The Browns (5-12), Bengals (6-11), Titans (3-14), and Saints (6-11) were among the ten worst teams in the NFL in 2025, while the entire NFC South finished with a losing record this past season.
On the flip side of things, the Broncos (14-3), Patriots (14-3), Jaguars (13-4), Texans (12-5), and Eagles (11-6) finished the season with a combined 64-21 record.
These teams could change drastically from 2025 to 2026 (and we're praying this offseason comes with improvement from the Pittsburgh Steelers), but this odd opponent list for next season is riddled with stud and dud teams.
