Rationalizing what the Pittsburgh Steelers will do at the 2026 NFL draft is never an easy task. That's what makes mock drafts interesting, as people provide their best guesses for how teams will tackle the event. In this mock draft, Pittsburgh takes an aggressive approach to attack several of its ongoing offensive issues.
It's time they finally address some of their pressing needs.
Adding a quality receiver or two this offseason must be at the top of their priority list. Beyond that, they need to resolve their quarterback situation while potentially seeking additional support in the trenches. Things could get interesting between free agency and the NFL draft this offseason. One thing is for sure: the Steelers cannot afford to sit on their hands if they want to compete this year.
Pittsburgh Steelers mock draft utilizes a trade to kick off a strong class of rookies
Steelers decide to pull off trade to make sure they get a top receiver in this mock draft
Don't be shocked if the Steelers trade up in the first round of the draft. In this mock draft, they sit and wait a little until one of the top three receivers drops within reasonable striking distance. They call up the Dallas Cowboys and negotiate a trade. Pittsburgh prefers either Makai Lemon, Carnell Tate, or Jordyn Tyson. Only one remains at this point. Luckily, the Cowboys agree to the Steelers' trade offer.
Steelers Mock Draft Round 1 (Via Cowboys): Makai Lemon, WR, USC
After giving up two picks to move up nine spots in the first round in their blockbuster trade, the Steelers take Lemon.
He was the last of the highly sought-after top three receivers in this draft class. He is an explosive playmaker who may not have the size of Tate or Tyson, but his game is even more elusive. Pittsburgh needs a receiver, and they should be willing to pay this price to land their guy.
Steelers Mock Draft Round 2: Chase Bisontis, OG, Texas A&M
Don't be shocked if the club opts for free agency to find Isaac Seumalo's replacement, but there are options in the NFL Draft. Chase Bisontis is an interesting choice out of Texas A&M. He has played tackle and guard during his collegiate career, but seems poised to settle in at guard in the NFL. Bisontis is a nasty player in the trenches and would slide into the vacancy left behind by Seumalo.

Steelers Mock Draft Round 3: Devin Moore, CB, Florida
It'll be a shuffled secondary for the Steelers this offseason with plenty of changes on the horizon. Devin Moore is the choice at this point in the mock draft, with too many question marks at the position. He has tremendous size for a cornerback, and could develop into a reliable starter opposite of Joey Porter Jr. Moore is a perfect option to coach up in the hopes of developing a star.
Steelers Mock Draft Round 3 (Compensatory): Skyler Bell, WR, Connecticut
Attacking the receiver position will be vital, and if the Steelers don't add quality pieces in free agency, the draft becomes even more important. They picked Lemon earlier in the mock draft, but they also add Skyler Bell, who could become a top playmaker from this class. He had a terrific East-West Shrine Bowl, and it could pay off for his draft stock.
Pittsburgh would be smart to double-dip at the position.
Steelers Mock Draft Round 4: Brian Parker II, OT, Duke
Selecting two offensive linemen in this mock draft may be bold, but the Steelers need to continue investing in their front. Bisontis was picked to be their starting left guard, and Brian Parker II can fill multiple voids up front. He has great size to be a quality tackle in the NFL, and has played on both sides of the line. The Steelers could use a quality swing tackle, and Parker gives them that option.
