The Pittsburgh Steelers' 2026 NFL draft class is now official, but that doesn't mean the fun is over yet.
The work they have done so far has received a mixed bag of reactions from fans and media alike, but the additions of Arizona State tackle Max Iheanachor and Alabama receiver Germie Bernard should have fans excited. Penn State quarterback Drew Allar is polarizing but has his fans in the draft community, as does Georgia corner Daylen Everette.
No Steelers fan would dare criticize the pick of Iowa offensive lineman and honorary Yinzer Gennings Dunker, and his teammate Kaden Wetjen should electrify the Steelers' return game if nothing else. Indiana's Riley Nowakowski, Notre Dame's Gabe Rubio, and Oklahoma's Robert Spears-Jennings didn't receive much fanfare on Day 3, but the emotional display from Navy running back and native Pittsburgher Eli Heidenreich on stage punctuated a great weekend for the Steelers faithful.
Now, though, they look to add talent that was passed over by the league in the form of undrafted free agents.

Running list of Pittsburgh Steelers undrafted free agent signings
Devan Boykin, DB, Indiana - SOURCE
One of many talented defensive backs roaming Indiana's National Championship defense, Boykin was overlooked due to his poor testing (4.64 forty) and lack of size (5'10", 192 pounds). Boykin is likely confined to the slot or could look to be a full-time safety at the next level.
Lake McRee, TE, USC - SOURCE
Primarily a receiving threat at USC, Lake McRee lacks the size and play strength to be more than a potential move tight end who needs to be detached from the line of scrimmage. Average movement skills combined with a smaller 6'4", 243-pound frame make him a long shot to make the roster.
Kevin Jobity Jr., DL, Syracuse - SOURCE
Kevin Jobity Jr. fits the mold of what the Steelers have been looking for on the interior, standing at over 6'4" and 308 pounds. He is an athletic 3-tech defensive tackle who joins Rubio as potential depth along the Steelers front.
Kevin Jobity Jr. is a DT prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 8.86 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 259 out of 2270 DT from 1987 to 2026.https://t.co/eu2czK3Cau pic.twitter.com/NhNdj3AvVL

Laith Marjan, K, Kansas - SOURCE
Marjan is likely to join a long list of kickers who are essentially used to keep Chris Boswell out of preseason action, but he made an impressive 30-34 kicks over the past two seasons, including 14-17 in 2025. At 6'2" and 205 pounds, he looks more like a traditional punter than a kicker. Something to monitor, perhaps?
Chamon Metayer, TE, Arizona State - SOURCE
Another UDFA tight end, Metayer played with Steelers 2026 first-round pick Max Iheanachor at Arizona State. Standing at 6'3" and 262, he is a big-bodied pass catcher with surprising run after catch ability. He's not a burner, and he isn't as effective a blocker as you would expect for his size, but he could be an intriguing player to watch in camp.
