NFL mock draft pick 5: EDGE Will Anderson Jr.
After trading back, the Cardinals still have a ton of options available with the number of quarterbacks that went early in round one. They stick with the player that they would have likely taken at pick 3 anyways by selecting Will Anderson Jr. He is a tremendous edge talent that should help ease the pain of J.J. Watt's retirement earlier this offseason.
NFL mock draft pick 6: CB Christian Gonzalez
Detroit should have the pick of the cornerback prospect pool. This comes after they signed Cam Sutton earlier this offseason during the free agency process. It is going to be too hard for the Lions to pass up the top cornerback in this class, with many assuming that will be Christian Gonzalez. He is the best overall prospect at the position as the Lions try to fix their weakest link on defense.
NFL mock draft pick 7: CB Devon Witherspoon
A slight run-on corners here that would make the fans of the black and gold worry some. Devon Witherspoon is someone that the Steelers have not shown a lot of interest in during the pre-draft process for one reason or another. Las Vegas continues to try and fix their secondary as it might be one of the weakest in the NFL.
NFL mock draft pick 8: EDGE Tyree Wilson
The Falcons could go a couple of different ways with this pick as they have a bunch of needs. They go with the top prospect left on the board with Tyree Wilson. He is a great edge rusher that has gotten overlooked by some other top guys in this class. Atlanta could always add a quarterback on night one if someone miraculously falls, but that is not too likely to happen.
