NFL mock draft pick 9: OT Paris Johnson Jr.
Rumors have been swirling recently that the Steelers have spoken with the Bears about a potential trade up to pick nine. Nothing ends up happening and Chicago takes the player that Pittsburgh covets. Paris Johnson Jr. is the top left tackle prospect in his class as his ceiling is high and he can plug and play on day one.
NFL mock draft pick 10: OL Peter Skoronski
The rich get richer here as the Eagles sit and wait at pick ten just to have a top offensive lineman sitting there for the taking. Isaac Seumalo left for the Steelers in free agency, but they get an upgrade here. Peter Skoronski does not need to be tried at left tackle here, instead, he can be a guard. He has that type of versatility and should play at an All-pro level along that front.
NFL mock draft pick 11: OT Broderick Jones
Nightmare fuel is at its highest right now for the Steelers as the run on top offensive tackles continues early into night one. Broderick Jones makes a ton of sense for the Tennessee Titans. They have a lot of work to do across their roster, but Taylor Lewan is gone. They get a raw and athletic tackle that should mold into a complete starter for years to come.
TRADE: Houston receives picks 19 & 50. Tampa Bay receives picks 12 & 230.
NFL mock draft pick 12: QB Hendon Hooker
Here is the shocker of the night as the Buccaneers feel the need to move up seven spots to draft their quarterback. Tom Brady is gone, and the Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield duo is not going to provide long-term answers. Hendon Hooker lands in an ideal situation where he can be brought along slowly before he becomes the savior that this club hopes he can become.
