TRADE: New York Jets receive Aaron Rodgers & 2024 5th rounder. Green Bay receives picks 42, 43 & 2024 6th rounder.

NFL mock draft pick 13: EDGE Myles Murphy

After the trade officially goes through, Aaron Rodgers finally finds his way onto the Jets. Myles Murphy has mixed opinions regarding NFL scouts around the league. He was once hailed as one of the top edge rushers in the draft, but that has slipped some. He lands on a defense that has continued to get better each year.

NFL mock draft pick 14: WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba

New England added JuJu Smith-Schuster through free agency about a month ago. That does not stop the Patriots from continuing their investment in the position. This is the sink-or-swim season for Mac Jones and this club should give him the best chance possible to succeed with a selection like this.

NFL mock draft pick 15: EDGE Lukas Van Ness

Another edge rusher comes off the board as Lukas Van Ness gets selected by the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers is gone and a new era will be happening for this storied franchise. An offensive weapon could make a lot of sense, but they have plenty of needs to go around. They go with Van Ness to become a premiere pass rusher if he reaches his potential.

NFL mock draft pick 16: EDGE Nolan Smith

Another edge rusher goes off the board as the position has become increasingly important in the game of football. Nolan Smith is not a finished product, but he has pure athleticism that no coach can teach. He could be a sleeper pick for the Steelers in round one, but he goes one selection before its Pittsburgh's turn. Washington is looking to make another fearsome front of defense and they have it here with Smith.
