2. Emmanuel Forbes, CB, Mississippi State

If you put on pretty much any game of Emmanuel Forbes from last season, you are sure to fall in love with his tape. Forbes graded out as one of the best cornerbacks in the nation in 2022, and his 14 interceptions in three years in the SEC are remarkable.

Now combine great tape and production with a 79'' wingspan and 4.35 speed and you have what would appear to be an outstanding cornerback prospect on paper. The biggest issue with Forbes is his outlier weight. He weighed in at a frail 166 pounds at the NFL Combine.

His zero-percentile weight is certainly a cause for concern, as teams wonder how he's going to hold up at the next level. However, if he was even 180 pounds, he would probably be the top cornerback in the class and a lock top-15 pick. He's that good.

If the Steelers miss out on the first wave of cornerbacks early, I love that Forbes is on their radar for early day two of the 2023 NFL Draft. He has all the upside to be an elite cover cornerback in the NFL if he can somehow add a little mass to his slight frame.
