2. Kevin Dotson should be on the Steelers trade block

Perhaps the player who makes more sense than any to be on the trade block for the Pittsburgh Steelers is offensive guard, Kevin Dotson. The former fourth-round pick has started 30 of 39 games over his first three seasons with the Steelers and is still on his rookie deal.

Unfortunately for him, Pittsburgh went out and signed two guards in free agency this year Isaac Seumalo and Nate Herbig. This was after spending good money on two interior offensive linemen in 2022 James Daniels and Mason Cole.

Daniels and Cole are projected to be the starters as it stands, while Herbig will have a great chance to be the primary interior backup. All the while, the Steelers seem to be eyeing yet another guard/center fairly early in the draft, based on their visits.

Realistically, Dotson is likely to be the fourth offensive guard on the team this year (and that's before the draft even takes place). His starting experience, traits, and affordable contract could still be enticing to a team desperately lacking OG depth. Dotson's value to the Steelers is very minimal at this point, and it could be worth trading him if the Steelers can slide up a few spots for a player they really want.
