OG Isaac Seumalo

Overall rating: 78

Rank among position: 28th

Of all the Steelers players with legitimate gripes over their Madden ratings this year, nobody has a right to be as upset as Isaac Seumalo. Despite his excellence over the years on one of the league's best offensive lines in Philadelphia, Seumalo has never earned the respect he deserves.

When healthy, his performance has been as consistent as any guard in the National Football League. In 2022, Seumalo graded out as the 10th-best guard in the NFL. His overall grade was nearly identical to Zach Martain -- who earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2022 and was given a 99 overall grade on Madden 24.

While Seumalo isn't as dominant as Martin, it's a shame that he has never earned as much as a Pro Bowl with how good he has been over the years. The long-time NFL guard doesn't necessarily have a defining trait, but he's stronger than his frame would suggest and has outstanding feet and technique in pass protection.

Even though the film points to Seumalo being one of the better players at the OG position, Madden has him ranked as the 28th-best player at his position with an overall rating of 78. This is two points lower than fellow Steelers OG James Daniels and only two points higher than Kevin Dotson (who was wildly inconsistent last year).
