1. Can the Steelers stack good games?
This has been a lingering question all season, as the Steelers have struggled to put together solid games back-to-back. They come out with a boring and predictable game plan and get beaten by the opposing teams early. Pittsburgh slowly finds something that works and sometimes wins, but then reverts back to the horrible unit in their next game.
No, the Steelers didn’t win in some sort of impressive manner against the Titans, but their offense looked like a far better unit than usual. The running game had some creativity to it and it was effective in wearing down the defense. The passing game was still hit-and-miss, but there were some better routes drawn up for the playmakers.
The team needs to build off that this week and keep up with the creativity. Perhaps it is just by keeping Matt Canada on the sideline, but whatever this offense did last week they need to duplicate again against the Packers. Stop with the same scripted starts and stack a pair of solid games. This team needs it moving forward.
The Steelers once again have a very beatable opponent in front of them this week. The Packers have had their ups and downs, but this shouldn’t be a huge task for this team to get through. That said, they will have to answer these four questions if they want to win in week ten.
