Can the Steelers keep Derrick Henry down?

Derrick Henry is one of the best running backs in recent history, but despite his success, he has declined this season. While still productive, he hasn’t been elite like he has in the past and hasn’t dominated games like he usually does. This is a huge reason why the Titans have been struggling this season.

Unfortunately, the Steelers have also had one of the worst rush defenses in the league, and Henry could be in store for a big week. With a rookie quarterback at the helm, I assume that Tennessee would want to have a dominant ground game to take some of that pressure off of him.

With Pittsburgh’s rushing defense being one of the worst, the priority has to be to contain Henry this week despite his lackluster season. Even though he hasn’t been the statistical beast we are used to, Henry is still a danger to any defense. Planning on stopping the passing game would be silly, as ignoring Henry is a foolish move.

The Steelers need to get their run defense cleaned up, as allowing Henry to have his way with the defense will make everything easier for the Titans. They haven’t really been able to yet, but this defense has to step up and contain Henry this week if this team wants any shot at winning.
