2. Steelers could trade back from pick 32 for added selections

One potential trade that we have talked about from the beginning of the pre-draft process was moving back from pick 32. While this seems like an obvious choice -- assuming there is a suitor who would like to move up -- the Steelers just simply don't trade back in the draft, historically. We are hoping that the new heads in the front office could change that.

Though we don't know which talented players could be available when the Steelers are on the clock with the 32nd overall pick, it's hard to pass up the opportunity to land another Day 2 simply by moving back a bit in the second round.

Obviously, the chips would have to fall the right way in order for the Steelers to pull this off. This might mean that a quarterback like Tennessee's Hendon Hooker is ripe for the picking at 32 and a team who contemplated drafting him in the first round is willing to move back up to land him at the top of the second.

Khan already said publically that he is open to moving back in the draft. On Day 3, the Steelers have just one fourth-round pick and two late seventh-round picks. Pittsburgh would love to be able to restock some of this capital with a potential trade-back.
