2. Steelers could target WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper

If the Steelers are okay with going another small-school route, Jalen Moreno-Cropper is another Jordan Addison clone they could consider taking in the middle of the draft (perhaps the fourth round). At 5'11 1/8'' and 172 pounds, Cropper has nearly identical size and athletic traits as Addison.

Pittsburgh would also be getting a very productive player as well. Over the past two years at Fresno State, Cropper managed roughly 2,000 yards to go with over 160 receptions and 16 touchdowns. His best season came this past year in 2022 when he helped his team to a 10-4 record in the Mountain West.

Like Addison, Cropper is known for his crafty route-running and savvy head fakes to sell his routes. Addison isn't the only player capable of creating space, and if you put on the film, these two players are much more comparable than you might realize.

Jalen Moreno-Cropper is a player who could help Kenny Pickett out early in his career and become a reliable safety valve thanks to his consistent hands and ability to get open. The best part is they wouldn't have to spend a top pick to acquire him.
