1. Steelers could target WR Jayden Reed

If you really want a quality wide receiver prospect who fits the bill of what the Steelers could look for and resembles Jordan Addison, look no further than Michigan State's Jayden Reed. At 5'10 3/4'' and 187 pounds, Reed is a thicker version of Addison.

Neither receiver tested as a great athlete, but both are smooth movers with a little wiggle to their game. Reed recorded nearly 2,900 receiving yards during his college career paired with over 200 receptions and 26 receiving touchdowns. He's roughly a year and a half older than Addison, but that doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

Like Addison, Reed can play 'X' receiver as well as the slot, and he would prove to be a versatile piece who could wear multiple hats for the Steelers. Reed is a better prospect than the other names on this list, but Pittsburgh could probably still draft him with just a third-round pick.

Reed may not have as good of an NFL career as Addison, but I think you are getting 90 percent of that player at a fraction of the cost. This is certainly something worth exploring, and it's worth noting that the Pittsburgh Steelers used a pre-draft visit on Jayden Reed leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft.
