Nick Herbig continue to impress

It's hard to find enough kind things to say about Nick Herbig at this point. After taking the world by storm in his preseason opener and getting to the quarterback twice for sacks against the Buccaneers, Herbig didn't let up against a tougher opponent this week.

From the time he stepped into the game, the former Wisconsin Badger was already getting pressure on the quarterback. It was only a matter of time before he left his mark on the game. With just over 9 minutes remaining in the third quarter, Herbig effortlessly dipped underneath the right tackle for a lightning-fast strip-sack and the Steelers would recover the football.

It doesn't seem to matter that he's 6'2'' and 240 pounds soaking wet. Herbig simply has an innate ability to get after the quarterback. In terms of overall winners, this kid is even stealing thunder from Kenny Pickett over the first two preseason games.

Everyone is getting excited about Nick Herbig and it's not hard to see why. He looks just like the pass rusher who was outstanding in college -- one that should not have fallen to the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. It's looking like Herbig is a player who could have an immediate impact in Pittsburgh this year, and his performance against the Bills is just more proof of that.
