5 biggest games Steelers fans must circle on the 2023 NFL schedule
Week 3: Raiders vs Steelers, Sunday, September 24th at 8:20 P.M.
Things will be different this time around nearly eight months since the Steelers hosted the Raiders on Christmas Eve. It saw Pickett lead the offense down the field and give a big Christmas win to the city of Pittsburgh. Las Vegas saw this loss and decided to make a handful of changes throughout the offseason that will change their dynamic in 2023.
As stated before, these two teams will have many different faces across their roster when the first whistle blows. The Steelers will have a ton of new starters and so will the Raiders. Pittsburgh was able to win this game last season, and they should be able to keep that trend alive this time around too.
Both defensive fronts should cause for a potential low-scoring affair, just like last time. The weather should be a tad warmer this time around. Neither quarterback should be too scary to either defense in this one with Jimmy Garoppolo and Pickett not being the elite of the NFL.
It should be another close contest, but the Steelers need to win this game with it being this early into the year. If they fail to get the win in this one, it could come back to bite them later when they are trying to qualify for the playoffs.
