3. Jaylen Warren is better than Najee Harris

This prediction might send some Najee Harris fans into a tantrum, but I really think there's a legitimate chance that Jaylen Warren could simply look like the better running back of the two for the Steelers in 2023. In fact, this might not be as bold as some would suggest.

Last year, Warren took the league by storm. The former undrafted free agent not only made Pittsburgh's final roster, but he also carved out a significant role on offense. Unlike Najee, Warren was remarkably efficient with each touch -- averaging 4.9 yards per carry and 6.5 yards per target.

In contrast, Harris managed just 3.8 yards per carry and a dismal 4.3 yards per target. In terms of advanced metrics from PlayerProfiler and Football Outsiders, Warren was better in yards above replacement, adjusted yards, True yards per carry, DVOA, and breakaway run rate.

The film is more important than anything, and some of these numbers could be attributed to the situation and usage. However, with his quickness, burst, and decisiveness, I think Jaylen Warren could be better than Najee Harris in 2023.
