5 teams the Pittsburgh Steelers have the best record against in NFL history
- The NFC South should be scared of the Steelers
- One uncommon opponent might as well throw in the towel before kickoff

For much of the 2000s, the Pittsburgh Steelers were the kings of the AFC North. Ben Roethlisberger proved to be a sizable advantage over the pedestrian quarterbacks in the division, and Pittsburgh struck gold going from Bill Cowher to Mike Tomlin back in 2007.
Despite this impressive era that included two Super Bowl victories and a third appearance in the biggest game on turf, the Ravens, Browns, and Bengals are hardly the teams that the Steelers have dominated the most throughout NFL history. Division games are challenging, and they are oftentimes decided by one score.
However, there are a handful of teams that this organization has owned throughout its storied history. Here are the five teams that the Pittsburgh Steelers have the best record against of all time.

5. New York Jets
It's not too surprising that the Pittsburgh Steelers have fared well against a team who hasn't had a true franchise quarterback since Joe Namath in the 60s and 70s. While they cut it close at times against pedestrian quarterbacks like Mark Sanchez, Pittsburgh prevailed more often than not.
Ultimately, this has led to the Steelers' 20-7 record against the New York Jets all time. This 74.1 percent win rate makes them the fifth most vulnerable team in franchise history when facing Pittsburgh.
Eventually, we can expect a paradigm shift. While the Jets have collectively been one of the worst teams for decades now, they seem to be trending in the right direction. Some good management and a few star players can change things quickly in the NFL.
This is a team that Pittsburgh has bullied throughout the years. But as good as their record is against New York, it's worth noting that Mike Tomlin has lost 3 of his last 4 games against the Jets dating back to 2014.
