2. Jordan Addison, WR, USC

There may be bigger and faster slot receivers, but Jordan Addison's on-field production and connection with Steelers QB Kenny Pickett is the reason he may find himself in the Black & Gold on draft day.

Jordan Addison won the 2021 Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver with Pickett as his quarterback at Pitt, catching 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 TDs that season. He then transferred to USC, where he added 59 receptions for 875 yards and 8 TDs last fall.

The 5-11, 173-pound wideout was considered to have a disappointing combine performance, as many thought he would post a faster 40 time (4.49). His vertical jump was just 34" and his broad jump was only 10'2". These aren't terrible numbers, but more was expected from him. However, this guy is a gamer and he could step into the starting slot role immediately if the Steelers snatch him up.
The chemistry is already there with Pickett and he's had some of his best games on the Acrisure Stadium surface.

Prediction: Late First-Round or early Second-Round selection. I wouldn't trade up to get Addison, but if he's there at 32 I'd think long and hard about it due to the lack of depth at WR in the draft.
