5. Derick Hall has impressive traits for an EDGE

What happened last season when T.J. Watt went down cannot happen again. We saw that the Steelers simply have no answer to the edge defender position outside of Watt and Alex Highsmith and they need to commit to a better rotation to keep some of their best players fresh and healthy.

Derick Hall was a player the team has already reportedly met with, and he did not disappoint during Combine drills. At 6'2 5/8'' and 254 pounds, Hall is an ideal fit for a base 3-4 defense, but his insane 34.5'' arms give him an intriguing build.

Hall also tested as a remarkable athlete. He exploded with a 4.57 40-yard dash, earned a blazing 1.58 10-yard split, and an impressive 10'7'' broad jump. According to his Relative Athletic Score, Hall actually tested just above Georgia phenom, Nolan Smith (who was also one of the biggest winners of the Combine).

Hall is a feisty player who would be a tremendous fit with the Steelers, and he's projected to go on day two. With three picks on the second day of the draft, I would have to imagine that Hall will be squarely on their draft radar.
