Baltimore remains on the top of the AFC North standings going into the week

Things are starting to tighten up on the Ravens after their loss this past Sunday against the Browns. No one has a stranglehold to potentially take over their current AFC North lead, but things are getting close to that point. Somehow both Baltimore and the Steelers have the same number of losses this season, but the Ravens have an extra win.

Their division lead could be tied if changes aren't made between the result on Sunday and this upcoming Thursday night game. The good news is that the Ravens will be at home yet again, but the bad news seems to outweigh the good. Baltimore will be on a short week and will host the Bengals in a tough game that might be an offensive powerhouse.

Joe Burrow is still firing on all cylinders, and it seems like his ability to win big games will carry over to this one. The Ravens have a strong defense, but they have been dealing with their fair share of impactful injuries all season. Lamar Jackson is still playing good football, but the regular season has never been his real issue as a player.

Jackson has to show up in these big moments and the Ravens can make a statement with a win here. On the other hand, Cincinnati desperately needs this win to stay in the playoff race. If they lose their divisional games moving forward, then they have a slim shot at making the playoffs. Watch out for this exciting AFC North matchup between these two divisional rivals.
