Jersey #73 Ramon Foster/ Craig Wolfley

This jersey is known for the two players that wore it going back to the 1960s. Ramon Foster is the most recent to don the jersey. He wore it from 2009-2019. Perhaps one of the top 10 guards to play for the Steelers, arguably. He was instrumental in protecting Ben Roethlisberger.

Craig Wolfley got to wear the jersey from 1980-1989. Like Tunch Ilken he is one of the best-known linemen from the ‘80s just had the luck of playing when the Steelers didn’t have great teams. As you know, Wolfley replaced Tunch Ilkenas, the color commentator on the Steelers radio broadcasts following Ilkin's death in 2021.

Jersey #74 Willie Colon/ Ray Pinney

This is one of those generational numbers; depending on how old you are will determine which player you remember. From 2006-2012 Willie Colon wore it. His protection of Big Ben helped lead the Steelers to a Superbowl title in 2008. He had a nine-year career, and six of those nine seasons were with the Steelers.

If you are old enough to remember the Steelers dynasty of the ‘70s then you remember Ray Pinney. He was one of those players brought in to help shore up the offensive line in 1976 and instrumental in protecting Terry Bradshaw’s left side at tackle. He missed the 1979 season due to injury, and although he wore three different jersey numbers in his career, he will be remembered for #74
