Browns vs. Steelers final score prediction for Monday Night Football in Week 2
Week 2 of the NFL season will wrap up on Monday night when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers are looking to bounce back after a Week 1 loss to the 49ers, but oddsmakers once again have them set as underdogs. In this article, I'm going to do my best to predict the final score of tonight's AFC North showdown.
If you plan on betting on tonight's game, I'd recommend doing so at Caesars Sportsbook. For a limited time, new users will be given $250 in bonus bets when you place your first $50 wager. Just click the link below to take advantage of this offer!
Now, let's see if I can predict tonight's final score.
Browns vs. Steelers odds and total
Steelers score prediction
With the Steelers being set as two-point underdogs, oddsmakers expect the average result of this game to be a two-point win by the Browns. That could result in a final score that looks something like 14-12 or 23-21.
The total for the game is set at 38, so oddsmakers expect it to be a relatively defensive game. The OVER has gone 12-2 through the first 14 games in Week 2, but based on the Browns performance against the Bengals in Week 1, these two teams may find themselves in a defensive slug fest.
If you take both the point spread and total into consideration, a 20-17 final score in favor of the Browns is certainly possible.
But, as I pointed out in this week's edition of the "Road to 272 Bets," I like the Steelers to upset the Browns and win this game. With that being said, I think the total of 38 is set at around the right number.
So, instead of a 20-17 win in favor of the Browns, I'm going to flip the result and predict a 20-17 win by the Steelers.
Exact score prediction: Steelers 20 - Browns 17
