Free Agency deals Steelers should regret missing out on

Steelers missed out on T.J. Edwards
I was shocked when White’s contract numbers hit, but my jaw hit the ground when T.J. Edwards's numbers were announced. 6.5 million a season for a young linebacker coming off a dominant season is theft. While last year was Edwards's best year by far, he was still a capable starter before that.
Edwards has developed into one of the most complete linebackers in the NFL. He is a great communicator, plays the run hard, and can hold his own in coverage. Expectations were that he was going to receive a big deal this offseason, but he came in well below that expectation. His contract isn’t laced with guarantees either, making the deal even better for the Bears.
While the Steelers got Cole Holcomb to help out this linebacker room, Edwards would have been a far better contract (and this is coming from someone fine with the Holcomb deal). Edwards is an ascending player with few weaknesses in his game. Considering he is receiving just a little bit more overall than Holcomb, the Steelers should have prioritized him instead.
