6. Detroit Lions: Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson

The Lions still need a lot of help on defense even after drafting Aidan Hutchinson last year. Myles Murphy was once talked about as a potentially the top player in the 2023 NFL Draft. His buzz has fallen off a bit since then, but the Lions still gamble with him here.

7. Las Vegas Raiders: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

After being displeased with Derek Carr, I have the Raiders taking a 'go big or go home' approach with the seventh overall pick this year -- opting for Florida quarterback, Anthony Richardson. Richardson has unmatched and untapped physical tools that make him the prototype boom-or-bust prospcet. If the gamble pays off, Las Vegas will have their next franchise quarterback who can go toe-to-toe with the best in the league.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

I would love to see Broderick Jones make his way to pick 17 for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he should be one of the fastest risers throughout the pre-draft process. The Falcons need to improve their lackluster offense, and Jones should be a long-time starter at offensive tackle with Pro Bowl upside.

9. Carolina Panthers: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

For as many recourses as the Carolina Panthers have tied up at the quarterback position, you'd think it would yield better results. Sadly, they weren't able to revive Sam Darnold's career, and there's no guarentee Matt Corral will turn out to be anything special. The Panthers get aggressive once again hope to find their signal-caller of the future with Will Levis.

10. Philadelphia Eagles: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

The Eagles nearly won the Super Bowl this year, and they still might be the most complete team in the league. However, they are expected to lose Pro Bowl CB James Bradberry in free agency. There's a lot of discussion about who the best cornerback is in the 2023 draft class, but Devon Witherspoon has A+ instincts and physicality that make him a plug-and-play starter who could yield good resiults from day one.
