Most-likely NFL comparison: D.J. Humphries

While many would like to see a more high-profile name as the most-likely NFL player comparison for Broderick Jones, comping him to D.J. Humphries isn't a knock at all. Humphries was the 24th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Though he has been a bit up and down at times, he has strung together a very solid career with the Arizona Cardinals.

In his first season, the former first-round pick began his career as a right tackle before flipping over the left side. After he worked through his inconsistencies, Humphries eventually graded out as the 4th-best tackle in the NFL in 2020, per Pro Football Focus, and earned Pro Bowl honors for a solid season in 2022.

Coming into the league, Humphries wasn't quite as long or athletic as Jones at the NFL Combine, but they win in very similar ways. The former Florida prospect had traits to work with and eventually cleaned up most of his technical flaws.
