We are entering the age of streaming. As cable and satellite television providers become more obsolete, streaming services are really gaining steam. Most of the country now has high-speed internet that allows them to play shows or movies on demand. For good or for bad, the National Football League is taking the next step forward when it comes to the NFL Sunday Ticket.

This could be bad news for football fans who live in some rural areas and don't have internet speeds fast enough to live stream, but good news for people who don't have DirecTV and would prefer to stream. YouTube has purchased the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket in a seven-year deal costing roughly $2 billion per year, according to CNN.com.

Poaching the NFL Sunday Ticket is going to be a massive traffic driver for YouTube TV as it looks to get a leg up in the streaming world. Now the biggest question becomes: how much does it cost?

How much does NFL Sunday Ticket cost?

Essentially, there are four different packages you can choose from if you are interested in purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023. You can find them here on YouTube.com.

YouTube currently has offers running through June 6th that will save viewers $100 per plan if ordered before the offer ends. Here's a brief description of all four purchasing options and what each service offers:

  • YouTube TV: 100+ live channels like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and ESPN for more live sports and local & national NFL games

If you don't have a YouTube TV account and you don't want to pay monthly fees, you can still stream the NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023 on YouTube with the latter two purchasing options. These don't include the live-streaming channels offered by YouTube TV and are pricier options.
