Packers vs. Steelers Key Players to Watch

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Jones: The veteran running back has struggled on the ground this season due to injury. However, Jones finally looked like the versatile running back we’ve seen over the last few years last week against the Rams. The 28-year-old recorded a season-high 73 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. He also had four receptions (six targets) for 26 yards. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Jones have another solid performance on the ground, as the Steelers are giving up 133.1 rushing yards per game this season (fourth-most in the NFL).

Pittsburgh Steelers

Diontae Johnson: The veteran wide receiver finally scored a touchdown for the first time since the 2021 season in last week’s win against the Titans. Johnson also had seven receptions (nine targets) for 90 yards. Since returning from injured reserve in Week 7, the 27-year-old receiver has 20 receptions (29 targets) for 254 yards and a touchdown. If you are a Steelers fan, you have to be excited with the re-emergence of Johnson in the passing game.

Packers vs. Steelers Prediction and Pick

Between the two teams, the Steelers have played the most consistent football, winning three out of their last five games.

Now granted, two of those wins were against the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams, but the Steelers did enough to come away with the win.

Pittsburgh will gear up to play a Green Bay squad, whose offense is inconsistent, scoring 16 points per game over their last five games.

The Steelers’ offense hasn’t been explosive over that span, scoring 15.4 points per game. With two struggling offenses led by young quarterbacks, Sunday’s game looks like a perfect spot to hammer the under.
