3. Steelers could consider O'Cyrus Torrence in the first round

Not too many players had a better week down at the Senior Bowl than O'Cyrus Torrence. He had a great season after transferring over to Florida this past year. This guard is the best coming out of the draft on most boards and that should be music to the Steelers' ears.

Depending on how the first round plays out, there is a chance that Torrence is the top selection made by the black and gold in the 2023 draft. Dan Moore Jr. seems like the biggest flaw at left tackle, but there might not be any more premiere tackles left on the board by the time Pittsburgh's turn is up. Going guard here might be a little rich, but it would not be the first time a solid performance by a guard down at the Senior Bowl landed them as a first-round selection.

Zion Johnson was the Torrence equivalent during last year's draft process. Johnson ended up being selected by the LA Chargers with the 17th overall pick. The Steelers own pick 17 this year, and they could have an interest in Torrence. It was also rumored that the black and gold had an interest in Johnson, but he went three picks ahead of their selection in 2022.
