Millions of fans tuned in to watch Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft, and the excitement level was everything we hoped it would be. There were some surprise selections made on Day 2 of the draft, and the Pittsburgh Steelers found themselves pulling the trigger on Washington offensive tackle, Troy Fautanu.

Now Steelers fans will be diving into Fautanu's tape and highlight film as they familiarize themselves with Pittsburgh's newest first-round pick. All the while, we will be preparing for a thrilling Day 2 of the NFL Draft tonight.

So what selections are the Steelers scheduled to make today and when can we expect Pittsburgh to be on the clock? Here's what you need to know.

Steelers Day 2 draft picks:

  • Round 2, pick 51 overall
  • Round 3, pick 84 overall
  • Round 3, pick 98 overall (via PHI, compensatory)

The Pittsburgh Steelers own three selections on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. This includes the 19th pick in the second round (pick 51 overall) and two selections in Round 3 (84 and 98 overall).

These draft choices aren't set in stone as Omar Khan could look to trade up or back during the draft this evening. Last year, Khan made two trades during the draft. One of these moves came on Day 2 as Khan traded back in the third round to recoup a fourth-round pick.

What time will the Steelers be on the clock tonight?

Tonight' NFL Draft coverage is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Each team has 7 minutes to make their selection in Round 2 and 5 minutes to make their pick in Round 3. Most teams won't use the full extent of the time allowed to make their pick. If each team uses roughly half of their 7 minutes in the second round to make their pick, this will have the Steelers on the clock at approximately 8:00 p.m. ET tonight.

In the third round, things will start to move faster. If each team takes approximately 3 minutes to make their selection in Round 2 and the first half of Round 3, the Steelers could be on the clock shortly after 9:00 p.m. ET tonight. You will want to stick around for their compensatory third-round pick (from Philadelphia) that will come shortly after at pick 98.
