Steelers draft round 3 (pick 80)

Highest chance of being the pick: WR Marvin Mims, Oklahoma

Highest chance of availability: DL Karl Brooks, Bowling Green

Round three is where we see the parentages plummet. Depending on the direction the Pittsburgh Steelers go with their first three picks, it gets remarkably hard to predict who could be the selection at this spot.

Ultimately, the formula decided that the player who stood the best chance -- based on need and availability -- is Oklahoma wide receiver, Marvin Mims. The speedster has inside-out versatility and could compete for snaps with Allen Robinson and Calvin Austin III early in his career.

It's worth noting, however, that the Steelers have not expressed much interest in this particular receiver. According to the Draft Day Tracker, he has just a 2.8 percent chance of being the Steelers selection at pick 80 overall (which is still higher than any other player at this point.

Karl Brooks, however, is a player that the Steelers have liked throughout the pre-draft process. ESPN believes he has the best chance of being available among potential third-round picks at nearly 80 percent. Pittsburgh has interest in Brooks but this feels a bit early.
