The Pittsburgh Steelers have two drafts in the books with their new front office heads running the show. General Manager Omar Khan and Assistant GM revamped the roster with young, athletic players at important positions of need.
While the focus is on the 2025 season, fans will soon look ahead to see what draft capital the team will have to work with as they continue their pursuit of playoff success and, ultimately, another Super Bowl win.
Building a championship roster can lead to success in the future. We now have specifics about the exact selections Pittsburgh will hold for the 2025 NFL Draft. Here's a look at every draft pick the Steelers have in 2025, 2026, and beyond.
Note: picks can be traded and added based on the compensatory formula.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a bit short on draft capital entering the 2025 draft. By trading for DK Metcalf, the front office sent their second-round pick (52 overall) to the Seattle Seahawks. The trade for the Pro Bowl receiver also included a Day 3 pick-swap, as the Steelers sent a seventh-round pick to Seattle (pick 223 overall) and received a sixth-round pick (pick 185 overall, originally of the Chicago Bears).
With just two selections in the top 100 this year and six total selections, the Steelers could look to trade back at some point in the draft to recoup an additional draft choice.

The Steelers may be short on capital in the 2025 NFL Draft, but their 2026 draft outlook is just the opposite. Because they lost so many players in free agency during the 2025 offseason and didn't make signings that impacted the compensatory formula, Pittsburgh is on track to receive a fanstastic comp pick haul next year.
Based on compensatory projections from Over the Cap, the Steelers will earn a third-round comp pick for the departure of Dan Moore Jr., a fourth for Justin Fields, a fifth for Russell Wilson, and a sixth for James Daniels leaving in free agency. It's also worth noting that the fifth-round compensatory pick the Steelers are on track to receive for Wilson could turn into a third if the quarterback hits his incentives with the New York Giants.

In the NFL, teams don't often trade draft capital more than one year into the future, and compensatory formulas aren't resolved this far in advance. Thus, the Steelers only have their assigned seven selections in Rounds 1-7 in the 2027 NFL Draft. This could change if Pittsburgh elects to make a trade involving 2027 draft capital.
