Steelers mock draft round 4: Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas

If Khan keeps things going based on what happened last offseason, he will likely want to fill holes in free agency and the draft. He wants guys to sign that can start for the Steelers if needed, but also add upgrades in the draft if certain prospects fall to them. They just signed Brewer to a three-year deal. It's a good move that provides a solid starter.

We also know that Brewer can play guard if needed and the Steelers won't be able to hold onto James Daniels or Isaac Seumalo forever. With that future thought in mind, they take Beaux Limmer out of Arkansas to kick off the final day of this mock draft. Flexibility is something Khan and his regime seem to love, and that is another attribute that this prospect brings with him.

He played mostly center this past season, but he had a lot of experience at guard during his career before that. He can handle both spots, but the Steelers see him as a center moving forward with the flexibility of playing guard as a depth option. He will fit into Smith's offensive scheme well and could become a starter for the team if Brewer fails to transition well.

Limmer has a lot of starting experience during his collegiate career at Arkansas. He is an athletic player for his size and can block out in space when called upon. He needs to work on his pass protection at the next level if he wants to become an elite player. He becomes a solid option both at guard and center in a depth role but could challenge Brewer for a starting spot if certain situations arise.
