Week 2 of the NFL season provided more questions than answers as many clubs are jumbled together. The Steelers were able to get a huge win on Monday night, but that victory has only provided more questions than answers.
Meanwhile, Week 3 of the NFL schedule is packed full of interesting matchups that should lead to some fun football this weekend. Here are my predictions for the entire slate of games this week.
2023 season prediction record after week 2: (9-7)
It was not all sunshine and rainbows last week in the prediction game here. It all totaled up with more wins than losses, so that is a plus. Some upsets and shocking occurrences changed the outcome of some games that seemed obvious. The game of football can be unpredictable just like how the Steelers defense was able to drag the team to a win.
New York Giants (1-1) vs San Francisco 49ers (2-0), Thursday at 8:15 P.M. EST
Prediction: 49ers 28, Giants 21
New York was able to bounce back from their week one loss by completing a crazy comeback to beat the Cardinals. They will not be able to handle that type of effort as they head to the West Coast again to face the San Francisco 49ers. It seems like the Golden Coast might spell disaster for the guys in blue as they try and play spoiler.
Everything that San Francisco is doing right now is going to be hard to stop. Their offense is swinging at full tilt and their defense has been dominant. They did struggle against the Rams some last week in certain situations, so they are able to be scored on. The 49ers are going to be a contender this year and that will put the Giants well behind the eight ball in this one.
