Omar Khan and Andy Weidl have only been leading Pittsburgh's front office for two years, but 'draft steal' is quickly becoming part of their everyday vocabulary. The Steelers got the best of the LA Chargers in Week 3, and it was another recent draft pick who made a significant impact.

Zach Frazier was spectacular in his third-ever NFL game in Week 3. The second-round pick out of West Virginia is off to a stronger start than anyone could have expected, and this was his best performance to date.

When I put the tape back on the second time, Frazier's dominance as a run blocker stood out. He was constantly turning and sealing defenders while getting to the second level and paving roads for running backs to tread.

Frazier's impressive play led to 114 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown against the Chargers. What's most impressive is how Pittsburgh's offensive line wore down their opponent late in the game to milk the clock and put this game on ice.

As a result of his stellar performance, the rookie center was awarded an 88.8 overall grade from Pro Football Focus -- the third highest on the team among players with a minimum of 25 snaps.

Steelers are getting tremendous return on their investment at center

It took almost no time at all for Zach Frazier to go from backup center on the Steelers to a borderline top-10 center in the NFL. While it's going to take far more than three games to prove he can continue at this rate, Frazier has been remarkable, and there are no signs to suggest his early success is just a fluke.

Frazier already plays the game like a savvy NFL veteran -- executing assignments to a tee while knowing exactly where to be on each play. Though his pass protection could use some work, he already looks like one of the best run-blocking centers in the league.

The Steelers, meanwhile, have a tremendous history when it comes to finding great centers through the NFL Draft, and Frazier would love to be next in line among a list of greats. Entering Week 4, Frazier is PFF's 6th highest-graded center in the NFL.

Considering he is only three games into his pro career, Pittsburgh Steelers fans should be very encouraged by what they are seeing from their impressive rookie. Frazier is already looking like the steal of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he will only continue to get better.
