The Steelers' pass rush has given Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott problems anytime he has been forced to hold onto the ball. That task becomes more difficult as Nick Herbig has left the game with an apparent leg injury.

Herbig has paired well against the Dallas offensive line as the opposite bookend to TJ Watt. He assisted Watt in recording his 100th career sack and has a few extra pressures as well.

Unfortunately, Herbig left the game with what appears to be a leg injury. After a brief look in the blue medical tent, Herbig was shown on the broadcast heading back to the locker room with an obvious limp.

According to multiple reports, Herbig sustained a hamstring injury and is questionable to return. There was no replay of his injury, nor further updates from the NBC broadcast.

Injury bug bites the Steelers again

Herbig was listed on the injury report for an ankle injury during the week, which he sustained in his first career start against Indianapolis last week.

Before leaving the game, Herbig recorded two tackles and a half sack. Overall, Herbig has been as advertised in relief of the injured Alex Highsmith, who is out with a hamstring injury of his own. Unfortunately, he's now sustained injuries in both of his NFL starts.

DeMarvin Leal and Jeremiah Moon will rotate with Watt to put pressure on Prescott in a tightly contested game.

We'll continue to monitor Herbig's status as more information becomes available.
