Steelers Mock Draft: Targeting NFL Combine studs and defensive stars

Steelers mock draft round 3: LB Noah Sewell
The Steelers biggest position of need may just be a linebacker. Assuming both Myles Jack and Mark Robinson return neither can be counted on as a secure starter, and the room is shallow beyond that. While free agency will likely add at least one new face to the roster, finding a draftable player will also be important.
In a league of small and quick coverage linebackers, Noah Sewell is a throwback. He has rare size for the position and surprising athleticism given he plays at nearly 250 pounds. He attacks running lanes, uses his size to take on and shed blockers, and is arguably the best pure run-defending linebacker in this draft class.
He does struggle in man coverage, but he has the athletic traits to get better there over time. His college tape reminds me of Nick Bolton, a similar run-defense-based linebacker that struggled with coverage and thus fell in the draft. He isn’t a complete player, but he can make an impact early for this defense if drafted.
