The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing to take on the Indianapolis Colts for a Saturday afternoon game in Week 15. While we try to keep tabs on 10 players who showed up on the injury report early this week, some drama is starting to unfold in The Steel City.

With how poorly the Steelers have performed over the past two weeks, it doesn't come as a surprise that both the players and coaches are receiving criticism. This time, it's coming from their former Super Bowl-winning quarterback. Here's the latest Steelers news.

Steelers news:

Recently, Ben Roethlisberger spoke about the Steelers on episode 46 of his Footbahlin podcast. When talking about the struggles of the current team, Roethlisberger pointed the finger at the coaching staff for the lack of discipline.

""Who is grabbing someone by the face mask and saying, 'That's not what we do.' Is that happening? Yes, you have guys on defense doing it, but you need guys on other sides of the ball doing it. … You need someone to stand up in that room, on offense, and be like, hey, this isn't what it means to wear the black and gold. This isn't what has been handed down from those teams of the '70s. The Steel Curtain, the four Super Bowls, the Nolls, the Bradshaws, the Blounts. All those people, it's unbelievable.

"I understand the further you get away from that, the harder it is unless it's being passed down and carried the right way." "

Roethlisberger might have taken a subtle jab at Mike Tomlin -- insinuating that he's not doing his job to instill leadership into his players. Big Ben also argued that the Steelers need 'someone to stand up' on offense and be a leader for them. He also voiced that 'maybe the tradition of the Pittsburgh Steelers is done.'

The former Super Bowl-winning quarterback also stated that he believes 'certain guys are on the team' aren't putting the team first and that they are in it for themselves.

More Steelers news:

The day after Roethlisberger's podcast aired, Najee Harris was asked about Ben's comments on the lack of leadership. Here was Najee's response, according to 93.7 The Fan:

""[Ben Roethlisberger] can have his opinion about something. I'm not trying to sit here and say if he's right or wrong. I don't know how to answer that... Ben is a Hall of Famer. Ben obviously been here, won a Super Bowl. He knows what the standard is. Ben is somebody credible... I got here just last year, so I can't really say that I know what the Steeler way is. "

Najee went on to note that Ben has played with players like Troy Polamalu and Jerome Bettis, saying that Roethlisberger has 'been in this building.' Harris even admitted that 'maybe he's right.'

NFL news:

Recently a report from theScore suggests that long-time Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick will be done as the head coach and GM in New England following the 2024 season. This has not been confirmed yet by Belichick himself, and he refused to talk about it when asked about his future with the team during a press conference.

This news comes after a win over the Steelers, but the Patriots still sit on a 3-10 record and could be looking for a regime change. This report has stirred up questions of whether or not Pittsburgh should follow suit with head coach Mike Tomlin -- who is currently on a longer drought without a playoff win than Belichick.
