It's here. The most anticipated offseason event in the National Football League is finally upon us. The 2023 NFL Draft will officially kick off this evening, so grab your popcorn and have your pizza and wings order ready in plenty of time. For Pittsburgh Steelers fans, this promises to be an exciting three-day event.

In his first offseason as general manager, Omar Khan has some excellent draft capital to work with -- including pick 17, pick 32, and pick 49. There has been a lot of speculation about the Steelers potentially moving around in the draft, so stay on the edge of your seat. For now, let's make sure you have the NFL Draft schedule down pat. Here's the latest Steelers news.

Steelers news:

With the 17th overall pick, it's possible that the Steelers aren't making their selection until roughly 10 p.m. ET, but don't assume as much. There has been a ton of buzz about Pittsburgh potentially moving up (presumably for an offensive tackle). I would highly recommend tuning in ahead of time.

To be sure you have everything situated, here's a final look at the full 2023 NFL Draft schedule:

  • Round 1: Thursday, April 27, at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN, ABC, ESPN App, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, NFL Network)
  • Rounds 2-3: Friday, April 28, at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN, ABC, ESPN App, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, NFL Network)
  • Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 29, at noon ET (ESPN with ABC simulcast, ESPN App, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, NFL Network)

Once again, the Pittsburgh Steelers are slated to have three selections on Day 2 of the NFL Draft, so this has a chance to be the most exciting day of the three. Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin will only make three selections on Day 3 -- two of which will come toward the very end of the draft in the seventh round.

More Steelers news:

In other Steelers news, final mock drafts have all been published just ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft. While there isn't a consensus player (or even position, for that matter) among the national media, Pittsburgh media seems to be in agreeance that the team will target an offensive tackle in the first round.

Most have Georgia's Broderick Jones slipping through the cracks or Tennessee's Darnell Wright being the tackle option that falls to pick 17. Others have Pittsburgh trading up for Ohio State OT Paris Johnson Jr., while some still are believing in the strong connection to Joey Porter Jr. that we've seen from the start.

Yesterday on the Still Curtain Podcast, my co-hosts and I broke down our predictive seven-round Steelers mock drafts. Prep yourselves for the draft with our show from yesterday!

With so much uncertainty surrounding the direction teams could go in the first round, this has the makings for a very exciting NFL Draft. Stay with us at Still Curtain as we keep you updated with every move the Pittsburgh Steelers make during the most anticipated offseason event of the year.
