George Pickens Milestone

George Pickens, you can argue, had his breakout game against Cleveland two weeks ago and has his own personal milestone in that game. George Pickens had 127 receiving yards, which was the most on Monday night Since Antonio Brown put up 126 yards on a Monday night contest against Washington in 2016. Pickens also moved into a three-way tie for the 4th most receiving yards in a Monday night game.

Pickens also moved into a tie with Theo Bell and Plaxico Buress with 127 receiving yards. Only Burress, John Stallworth, and Lynn Swann racked up more receiving yards on a Monday night.

Burress has a tie with Stallworth for the team record of 151 yards; Stallworth posted 137 in 1982, and Lynn Swann had 134 in 1978. However, Pickens has the third most receiving yards ever at home on a Monday night behind Stallworth and Plaxico Burress; everyone else posted their totals in road games.

Mike Tomlin Milestone

Mike Tomlin improved his Monday night record to  10-1 at home. Tomlin’s only home loss on Monday night was against Washington on 12/7/2020. However, this milestone comes with a quirky oddity. Of his 4 Monday night losses, two were against the Bengals in 2020 and 2013 on the road, and the 3rd was against Washington and again in 2020, with the 4th coming against the 49ers in 2011.
