LA Rams (3-5) vs Green Bay Packers (2-5), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

Prediction: Packers 23, Rams 14

LA might be without Matthew Stafford this week as he deals with an injury and that will put them behind the eight ball. The Packers are not great either and are struggling to find ways of staying relevant this year. Jordan Love and company should be able to scrounge up enough offense to light their offense up. Green Bay's defense should also be able to cause a turnover or two against the LA backup quarterback and get to a victory.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4) vs Houston Texans (3-4), Sunday at 1 P.M.

Prediction: Buccaneers 24, Texans 21

Tamp Bay played a solid game against the Bills last week and they have gotten a couple extra days of rest and extra preparation for this game. Houston is coming off a low scoring defeat against the winless Panthers heading into that contest. Baker Mayfield should be able to move the ball down the field against the Texans defense. The Buccaneers defense should make life hard on rookie C.J. Stroud and cause a tough day at the office.

Washington Commanders (3-5) vs New England Patriots (2-6), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

Prediction: Patriots 18, Commanders 13

Both teams are starting to fall down the standings quickly, even though Washington had a strong start to their season. New England has a bad offense, but their defense has been able to find ways to keep them in games on certain weeks. The Commanders just traded away two quality players and that should affect their confidence heading into this one. Expect the Patriots defense to keep them in the game just enough to drag their offense to victory.
