Eric Bieniemy should consider a new job with the Steelers

Welcome to the interesting and fun idea that has a very small chance of actually happening. Eric Bieniemy should be a Head Coach in the NFL right now, but for one reason or another, that has not materialized. Mike Tomlin is not afraid to extend an olive branch to coaches that are struggling to find certain positions.

Bieniemy will not have trouble finding a job, but he might not be able to find the right job for him. He is currently interviewing for different coordinator positions around the NFL, which include teams like the Commanders and other organizations in football. He is looking to prove himself on his own to guarantee a top spot on an NFL team in the future.

The Steelers could come calling, especially if Bieniemy seems to be struggling to decide on his employment. Tomlin enticing him with the assistant position as well as an offensive coaching spot could get him in the door. He might not be an offensive coordinator like he hopes to be, but he could have his fingerprints all over an offense that should have the arrow pointing up. Helping the Steelers' offense from last year have a quick turnaround in 2023 could get him as much credit as a coordinator spot on any club.
