It took a bizarre sequence of events, but the Pittsburgh Steelers have found themselves back in the NFL Playoffs for the first time in two years. Following a three-game losing streak in December, all hope looked lost. That's when Mason Rudolph and company turned on the jets in the final three games to close out the 2023 season.

After getting the help they needed from the Tennessee Titans, the Steelers earned a playoff berth. Their opponent for the Wild Card round was decided on Sunday Night Football in the season finale. With the Bills defeating the Dolphins, Pittsburgh will be on the road in Buffalo in the first round of the NFL Playoffs.

This could be a contest in which the weather greatly impacts the game script. Here's everything you need to know about the Steelers vs. Bills matchup on Super Wild Card Weekend.

Steelers vs. Bills Game Time:

The time and date of Pittsburgh's first playoff game were not decided until the closing seconds of the Bills-Dolphins game on Sunday Night Football. Had the Dolphins won, the Steelers would have been playing on Saturday in Kansas City. Instead, the Steelers vs. Bills Wild Card game will take place at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, January 14th.

Steelers vs. Bills Location:

The Steelers enter the playoffs as a Wild Card team, so they won't be seeing a home game this postseason. Their game this Sunday against the Bills will take place at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, New York. The forecast for the game calls for snow flurries and a high of 27 degrees.

Steelers vs. Bills Streaming and TV:

The Steelers vs. Bills game will be broadcast nationally on CBS. Because this is the NFL Playoffs, anyone with access to a CBS station should be able to view this game, regardless of their geographical location in the United States. You can also stream the game with a subscription to FuboTV or NFL+.

Steelers vs. Bills Odds:

The Pittsburgh Steelers opened the week as 9.5-point road underdogs to the Buffalo Bills, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbooks. This line has already been bet up to +10 for the Steelers. They are the heaviest underdogs of any team in the playoffs for the Wild Card round. Pittsburgh has a moneyline of +400 and the over/under for this game is set at 36.5 points.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.

What to Watch for in Steelers vs. Bills Game:

There are several big storylines for Pittsburgh in their Wild Card matchup. T.J. Watt's knee injury is flooding the news cycle, as it was reported that he will be out a minimum of two weeks with a Grade 2 MCL sprain. His absence could prove to be a critical loss when trying to defend Josh Allen this Sunday.

The quarterback position remains a story for Pittsburgh. While Mason Rudolph didn't look as impressive in a rainy game in Baltimore last week, he is expected to remain the starting quarterback for the Steelers on the road this week. This will be Rudolph's first-ever postseason start. Will he rise to the occasion?

In the NFL Playoffs, it's win-or-go-home. The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to avoid a seven-year drought with so much as a single playoff win.
